The local Chinese community have helped shape the Queen Victoria Market since 1878. Discover local Chinese history as you taste your way around the iconic marketplace on a two-hour guided tour, with an English-speaking guide and Mandarin translator.

Yuán Xiāo Jié, The Lantern Festival of the Lunar New Year, celebrates the lead up to the first full moon of the Chinese Lunar New Year. On Saturday 20 February, from 7am to 3pm, also celebrate the Lantern Festival. Explore a wide variety of traditional Asian food stalls, performances, and free family activities, including traditional lion dances and lantern making workshops.
