Lucky Market at Eight Mile Plains Shopping Centre

I was pleasantly surprised to find a rich Korean culture in Eight Mile Plains and its surroundings. They had a mega huge Asian supermarket in Eight Mile Plains Shopping Centre, selling mainly Korean products.

Lucky Market

Not that I've seen tons of Korean supermarkets in Brisbane, but this was the biggest yet!

Nearly all of their labels are written in Korean, so obviously, I wasn't able to read anything at all. But the staff were kind enough to answer my questions, so it's all good even if you can't read or speak the language!

While I can't be too sure about how economic the prices are in this grocery shop, due to a lack of exposure to other Korean shops in Brisbane, they certainly looked very well stocked up in their Korean products.

They even sell daily amenities for those who can't really switch loyalties to local brands.

And if you're craving for some sell ready-to-eat Korean food, such as Korean bakery, kimbab, meat and some other delicacies, they have them too!

Not that I think this experience will ever come close to shopping in Korea itself, but definitely a place worth visiting if you want to get a feel of what that awesome country sells

What were the white/coloured balls in the third to last picture? I can see sushi in the background, but they look more like sweets.
