Calling all Bombardiers! it's time to get your bomb chucking arm ready as your services are needed at
Decker Park , 18 Twenty Fifth Avenue, Brighton on Sunday, 29 November 2020 from 11.00am until 4.00pm. That's the date and time when you join forces with your mates and splatter the opposition with fun and laughter – oh yes, and lots of water!
Hosted by
LST Support Services the
All Abilities Water Bomb Battle has been arranged for young adults and kids with disabilities along with their families and carers as an event to promote the inclusion of young people with disabilities within the community. The
All Abilities Water Bomb Battle is open to the public but organised to suit the needs of young people with disabilities.
The water bomb battle is set to commence at around 1.00pm. This gives everybody plenty of time to prepare for battle by joining in the organised (and supervised) water games, taking in some endurance building carbs and protein from one (or several) of the food trucks on hand and checking out the supportive local small businesses' displays, including a mini Police Beat where you'll be able to check out a real police car with all its gadgets.
Don't forget to bring your own water gun and make sure you are wearing your favourite, comfortable shoes that won't give out and slip when you need them to most.
The whole event is to be recorded by a professional photographer and a videographer. It's hoped the results of their work will help get out the message of inclusion and how events such as this promote disability awareness throughout the community so everybody always feels included with, and connected to, everybody else.
