Held annually over the October long weekend, Loxton Show will once again celebrate the region's agricultural and horticultural heritage this year. People from all across the Riverland are set to descend on the showgrounds from 8:30 am on Sunday the 1st and Monday the 2nd.

A major aspect of the show are the works exhibited by amateur hobbyists in a variety of interest areas. Besides testing your skills at the sideshow alley and enjoying exhilarating show rides, you can also expect livestock displays, a petting zoo and talented entertainers to dazzle you with their performances. There will be trade sites too with stalls selling a range of goods from jewellery and clothing to cosmetics and lollies. Food will, of course, be available onsite. The food court is known for many fine cuisine.

Entry is $15 per adult and $5 per child or $35 for a family. Student and pensioner tickets are $10. The showgrounds is located on Bookpurnong Terrace in Loxton. A map can be found here . For more information, please head to www.loxtonshow.org.au .
