Saturday the 30th of November 2024 is a special day in Loxton as the community comes together for Light Up Day . The day will be filled with joy, wonder and festive fun. Shops along the village-style main street will be open from 9am to 8:30pm. You'll have plenty of time to tick off your Christmas shopping list while supporting local businesses. In addition, the twilight market will come alive with a curated selection of stalls from 4:30pm.

Santa is coming to town with a special Christmas gift for each child. He will personally present the gift to them during their visit. A professional photographer will be available if you'd like to have photos taken. Session times are from 10am to 1pm and 4pm to 8pm. During these times, your child will also be occupied with amusement rides, face painting and craft activities in the Kids Zone. A puzzle-solving adventure, the Christmas Code Cracker challenge, will test the sleuthing skills of older kids too. Those interested in treasure hunts can simply collect a Reindeer Road bag and embark on the quest. You'll collect gifts from various businesses. Weather permitting, the Festive Ferris Wheel will be available for rides between 10am and 10pm.

Finally, the main stage will feature special guests Kozmik Kapers, Pixie Sparkle and Tinsel the Reindeer as well as performances by Loxton High School Choir and Loxton Community Dance Club from 7:15pm.
