Located in the Southwest of Victoria, and home to the lower reaches of the perennial Glenelg River, the 27,000 hectare is a treat for hikers, bikers, canoes and kayaks, and boats of many other forms.

With main features being the Glenelg River Gorge and the Princess Margaret Rose Cave, the Park is also home to numerous campsites, many of which are only accessible via hiking the Great South West Walk, or by canoe or kayak.

The Glenelg River starts near the Grampians in central Victoria, and meanders in a southwesterly direction collecting tributaries along the way until it reaches its exit to the sea near the small fishing village of Nelson.

The National Park is managed by Parks Victoria with further details, including access and booking details, available from their website.
