Quick and Easy - No Bake - Low Carb - Brazil Nut Treats! These tasty little nutballs are so easy to make, you can whip them up in a minute to satisfy a sweet-craving that won't blow your Low Carb, Low Sugar Diet!
Brazil nuts are very low in carbohydrates. Sunflower seeds are also low in carbs. You can use other nuts and seeds in this recipe but watch the carbohydrate count in the information panel on the packaging if you're trying to keep to a low carb diet. Also, if you want to use walnuts be aware that they can seem bitter so taste-test as you go and add sweetener to suit your tastes! For a powdered sweetener, I use Hermesetas, but any that measure one-for-one will do the job.

Blend the Brazil Nut mix
The addition of dried cranberries in this recipe is a bit naughty due to their natural sugar content, and please note that they are purely optional! This recipe works perfectly well without cranberries, though it will be a little drier in your hands and may not form together quite as easily.

A palmful of Brazil Nut mix
Ingredients:
200g Brazil Nuts
1 tablespoon Sunflower Seeds
1 tablespoon powdered sweetener
Optional: 2 - 3 teaspoons dried cranberries
Method:
Blend all ingredients together.
Form into balls or biscuits in the palm of your hand.
Refrigerate (this will firm them up).
