Loving Hut Vegan Cuisine

Nestled amongst the cultural hot-pot that is Cabramatta, Loving Hut Vegan Cuisine is an Earth-friendly culinary delight. The menu boasts endless options of Asian inspired delicacies; rice paper rolls, lemongrass soy chicken, rice wrap vermicelli with stir-fired soy beef and my personal favourite, the mouth-watering Peking duck pancakes. 'Wait, I thought you said vegan cuisine?' Yes, that's right, I did! Everything on the menu is absolutely meat and dairy free. Although cleverly named after its meat counterpart, all dishes are made with tofu, carefully constructed to mimic the taste and texture of meat and seafood, while remaining animal free. Even regular meat eaters have been pleasantly surprised with this place, because taste is second to none. You can't go past the spicy salt and pepper tofu or the caramel flan (for only $1.50) for dessert.

Inside Loving Hut Cabramatta
Loving Hut is inviting with its clean and fresh interior.

If I haven't already sold you, Loving Hut's kindness to animals also extends to your pockets, with dishes averaging only $10 in price. We ordered so much on our visit that they ran out of room on the table, and it still only cost a little over $20 each. As you take in the delectable dishes, you can also take in the quaint quotes that encourage vegan eating. It makes you happy to be eating food that is not only good for you, but good for animals and the environment too.

The popular Peking Duck Pancake.

While Loving Hut presents a bright and sunny interior to reflect the positive vibe inside, the experience doesn't end there when you step outside this quaint restaurant, you only need to turn a corner to be greeted by the hustle and bustle of South Western Sydney's famous suburb of Cabramatta. Immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture. Explore the array of Asian food stores and countless fabric shops. Try a sugar cane drink or a jelly cup. Stop for a coffee break at one of the lovely cafes. Grab a bargain at any number of fashion outlets, before stopping at Just Green Vegan Organic Health Food Store to pick up some 100% vegan products for a taste of Cabramatta at home.

Another Delectable Dish
Rice Vermicelli with Soy Beef.

Only 40 minutes by train from the city, Cabramatta is home to a unique cultural experience in Sydney's own backyard and a mecca for vegans.

I have eaten there for many times. Vietnamese pancake is nice, grilled tofu fish is rolled with small vermicelli + salad in rice paper and dipped in the special sauce ... wonderful!
