Is it possible for Rehvenge to love another person?
Lover Avenged, by JR Ward, is the seventh book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, following on from Lover Enshrined.

Between these two books there was The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insiders Guide published, but this doesn't count towards the series book count as it didn't really further the story, rather it added to the back stories of the brotherhood members. One thing it did do though, is see the readers through the birth of Zsadist and Bella's daughter, Nalla.

The main difference between Lover Avenged and the previous BDB books, is that this book doesn't follow one of the brothers, it actually follows the story of Rehvenge, aka The Reverend. Rehv is a great many things, he's a bar owner, a drug lord, a pimp, an ally to the brotherhood and brother to Bella, Zsadist's mate. He's also half symphath, a subspecies of vampire who are characterized by their ability and desire to manipulate emotions in others and feared by vampires.

The brotherhood, and Wrath especially, have been enjoying the return of their brother Tohr, both physically and emotionally. But the protection of Rehv's secrets, is about to come back and bite them all.

Ehlena is a nurse in Havers clinic. She loves her job and helping out patients in need. But a couple of encounters with Rehvenge, and an admission of love for the 'bad guy', have her risking not only her job, but her life.

Lover Avenged is just as compelling as the previous books in the series, with just as much sex and fun, leading to a awesome fight between the Brotherhood, the symphath colony and some lessers (lead by Lash). I'll be very surprised if you can put this book down.
