Become more confident from a place of inner strength
Jo Anne Zamora Gante from Mivida Movement is hosting a number of engaging workshops this May & June as part of a 4-Part Workshop Series entitled "Love Yourself".

This series of workshops are designed for all ages and aim to help you become more confident from a place of inner strength, inner peace and acceptance in everyday life.

All workshops are practical, following a flow of:

  • Self-examination / Self-learning

  • Reflections

  • Learning of practical strategies for everyday life

  • Movement / Meditation

    Choose from the following sessions:

  • May 20:

    Breath, Stretch & Meditate

    8.30-10.30am, Lorna Jane Active Living Room

    5 Princess Street Bulimba

    Unwind your body, release the tension and learn how to centre your mind, body and emotions.

    In this workshop students will:

  • examine how one's breath and the importance of breathe in balancing the body, mind and emotions.

  • begin to develop an understanding of their body's own language and learn to understand its signals

  • learn stretches and their purpose to release tension in the body

  • learn techniques to calm the mind, improve mental focus and enter meditation

  • learn practical tools to begin changing how we cam approach life, our body and our emotions

    Step Into Self Confidence

    4-6pm, Lorna Jane Active Living Room

    5 Princess Street Bulimba

    By changing how you hold yourself, you can transform how you see you and how the world sees you.

    In the workshop, students will:

  • examine how they feel and see themselves

  • begin to develop an understanding of their body's own language and learn to understand its signals

  • learn techniques through movement to change how one feels

  • learn practical tools to begin changing how one thinks

  • June 3:

    Body Mind & Emotions

    2-4PM, Quanys Gym 104 Norman Street, East Brisbane

    Body, Mind & Emotions is a practical movement and theory-based workshop that brings awareness to your consciousness of how you truly think and feel about yourself.

    In this workshop students will:

  • examine themselves and how their thoughts change their body and posture

  • begin to develop an understanding of their body's own language and learn to understand its signals

  • learn techniques through movement to change how one feels

  • learn practical tools to begin listening to the body's language.
