A new canine carnival comes to town , the highlight of your canine companion's social calendar. Held at popular dog-walking parks in QLD and NSW this August to September, the events are hosted by Advantix, Australia's unique parasite protection treatment, with the aim of educating Aussie dog-lovers about the dangers of the deadly paralysis tick and other nasty parasites.



LOVE YOUR DOG festival will be kicking off this month, taking place in some of the most tick-prone areas in QLD and NSW. Offering free pet-grooming and veterinary advice, free product exchange, it is like a mini-festival for your furry friends.

The canine's best friends, us humans will not be left out of the carnival, as there will be face-painting and balloons for the kids, as well as fun photo booths ,education and giveaways to entertain. Most importantly, you will learn something that will save your dog's life.



Some of the Activities at the Event as follows:

Pamper Parlour: Free pet groom and flea and tick health check , as well as a free lesson in how to properly check your dog for ticks and fleas yourself.

Advantix's "Ask a Vet": If you have a question of concern regarding your dog's behaviour, habits or health – official vets will be on hand to assist and also run through FAQs about ticks and other parasites.

Pooch Protection Pit-Stop: Is where we teach mums, dads and kids how to spot the symptoms of a paralysis tick bite in a fun and memorable way. And there are prizes to be won.

Say WOOF: Yes a free professional "phoDOGraphy" studio , get a perfect photo with your happy pet pal for their portfolio.This will be the festival favorite.

WEEKEND 2: 6- 7 Sept
Sat 6 Sept 2pm – 6pm: Horn Park, Stuart Street, Harlaxton (Toowoomba), QLD, 4350.
Sun 7 Sept 7am-11am: Doug Jennings Park (The Spit), off Seaworld Drive, Main Beach, QLD, 4217.

WEEKEND 3: 13 - 14 Sept
Sat 13 Sept 7am- 11am: Sandon Point Reserve, at the corner of Blackall St and Beach Street, Bulli (Wollongong), NSW, 2516.
Sun 14 Sept 7am – 11am: Nobby's Beach Reserve, corner Nobby's Road & Pasha Way, Newcastle East, NSW, 2300.

WEEKEND 4: 20 - 21 Sept
Sat 20 Sept 7am-11am: Wanda Reserve (opposite Don Lucas Reserve), Mitchell Road, Cronulla, NSW, 2230.
Sun 21 Sept 10am-3pm: Dogs Day by the Bay, Rowland Reserve, Pittwater Road, Bayview, NSW, 2104.
