'Love, Rosie' also known as 'Where Rainbows End' and 'Rosie Dunne' is a 2014 Romantic Comedy staring Lily Collins, Sam Claflin and Suki Waterhouse. It's the story of Rosie Dunne (Collins) and her epic friendship with Alex Stewart (Claflin). Best friends since age 5, they grow into those awkward teenage years where they've got to decide whether there is anymore to their relationship than just being friends.
Directed by Christian Ditter and written by Juliette Towhidi and Cecelia Ahern. On Rosie's 18th birthday she goes out partying with Alex and they kiss, before Rosie falls off a bar stool and ends up in hospital having her stomach pumped.
The next morning Alex approaches Rosie to discuss the night before and she tells him to forget about it and that it never should of happened; she thinks they are talking about having her stomach pumped. The school dance is coming up and Alex and Rosie had already planned to go together, but are they going as more than friends? When Rosie tells Alex she's been asked by someone else and wants to go with him Alex realises their just friends and goes with someone else too, who later becomes his girlfriend.
The story follows their lives as they grow up; through time, space and different continents, they never grow apart. Was Alex the one that got away? Will they find their way back to one another, or will it be too late?
