As Tears Go By (1988) - stylish and moody debut
Days of Being Wild (1990) - hypnotic tale of youthful rebellion; the neon fever dream
Chungking Express (1994) - filmed in a guerrilla filmmaking style and inspired by Haruki Murakami's short story
Fallen Angels (1995) - showcasing the romance and lust of Hong Kong at night
Happy Together (1997) - the achingly beautiful tale of a love affair in exile
In The Mood For Love (2000) - which won Tony Leung Chiu-wai Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival in 2000
2046 (2004) - the trilogy's emotionally-charged conclusion (trilogy includes Days of Being Wild & In The Mood For Love)
The Hand (Director's Cut) (2004) - Director's Cut, a tale of obsession, repression, and class divisions
My Blueberry Nights (2007) - Wong's first English-language film, a soulful road trip movie starring singer Norah Jones and Hollywood stars Jude Law, Natalie Portman, and Rachel Weisz
Ashes of Time: Redux (1994/2008) - great historical film featuring a swordsman's sprawling tale of love, revenge and honour
The Grandmaster (2013) - chronicling the life of Wing Chun master and Bruce Lee's legendary teacher, Ip Man

As Tears Go By, Chungking Express, Fallen Angels and Happy Together. Other restorations are from Wong's 1960s trilogy –
Days of Being Wild, In The Mood For Love and the trilogy's conclusion,

Wong Kar Wai is widely recognised as one of Hong Kong's and the world's greatest filmmakers and has influenced many young directors.
