A High Flying Love Affair with Coffee
The Adelaide Fringe Festival is nearly on our doorstep. Running from the 12th February to the 14th March, the Fringe is a wonderland of entertainment choices. There are theatre, comedy, circus, music, dance and cabaret acts. Each year the Adelaide Fringe aims to present lively, surprising and unexpected entertainment. The creativity of Fringe artists will make you laugh, gasp and possibly even cry.
The themes of love and loss are explored in the upcoming show Love, Loss and Lattes. Missy, our talented aerial presenter, uses circus apparatus such as hoops, poles and silks to share her thoughts on these universal emotions. Coffee has been her constant companion through the ups and downs of life. Love, Loss and Lattes is a window into Missy's connection with this comforting caffeinated beverage.
Be prepared to be stirred and uplifted by this vigorous acrobatic dance performance.
Love, Loss and Lattes runs for 45 minutes. It is rated PG, but carries a content warning for the use of strobe-like flickering lights and loud sounds. Tandanya Theatre, 253 Grenfell Street, Adelaide, is the venue for Love, Loss and Lattes, which runs for one matinee and five evening performances. Tandanya Theatre is a wheelchair-friendly venue.
Be sure to wander down East Terrace and into The Garden of Unearthly Delights to soak up the Fringe atmosphere. Bars, carnival rides, multicultural food and market stalls all contribute to the dynamic festive destination.
