The Love Eco Markets at Morningside School of Arts, 590 Wynnum Rd, Morningside on Sunday 22 March 2020 from 9am to 2pm is an event set to inspire sustainable living. Bringing together a range of eco-designers, green innovators and eco-conscious makers, come along and support locally made and sustainable slow fashion at this event that's set to highlight eco-friendly products and practices.

If you're an eco-designer; local maker, looking for a likeminded community to showcase your wares and inspire handmade and eco loving customers, head to the event page to check out the criteria that enables you to join this band of environmentally conscious makers and apply for a market stall for a future event.

A stall like Myclectic will show you how they turn samples collected from interior designers into colourful jewellery and more. It's amazing what you can do with discarded materials. That's bound to get those brain cells ticking to think green when making your purchases. Papercutz do what seems almost impossible. They are creators of eco-friendly and sustainable washable paper products. Wendy Lynch the creator says it looks like leather, can be washed like fabric but is made from paper. Made from cultivated plant fibre, it's free from harmful nasties, and I'm sure you can't wait to find out more from the stall holder at the market.

This is definitely the event to learn more from Brisbane's greenest makers in an environment that'll spark conversation. Think stainless steel straws, reusable containers designed to take to the butcher, local honey, beeswax wraps, keep cups, jewellery made from recycled metals and materials, handbags and clutches made using repurposed materials, eco-conscious clothing and swimwear, plants in up-cycled vessels, locally made jams, eco furniture and homewares and natural skincare made in Brisbane. Put that all together with music by locals and nourishing eats to buy from food trucks, and you have a day of fun at this FREE event. Spread the news, encourage and inspire sustainability and bring family and friends with you.
