What is Emergenza. just in case you haven't heard?
Emergenza is the largest rock festival for bands that are unsigned in the world, with over 150 cities worldwide competing. Emergenza offers the best and most professionally equipped stages and assistance with promotion. All a band has to do is play their best!
Throughout the season there are elimination heats where each band has a 30 minute set to perform. This provides opportunities for bands to perform in some of the best and most famous clubs with international standing.
Bands are selected according to the public voting, which determines which bands go forward to the next round. The crowd decides with their voting, and they may vote as many times as they like. Judging is clear and open and all bands, musicians and fans are able to see the results of the voting.
All national winning bands will perform in Germany at the international final competition. The Emergenza Festival will pay all their trip, accommodation and local transport expenses. Each band will share the bill and the stage with many other successful and famous rock bands and will perform live to 30,000 people.
As voted by the jury, the winning band will receive full production, a tour, musical instrument and further technical material. In addition, each musician will receive guitars, drums, and other technical gear from the various sponsors.
