The Love Community Christmas Event is a popular free annual event, organised by the volunteers of Southcity Church in partnership with The City of Melville, Lotterywest and Harcourts Applecross.

This year it will once again be held at the iconic Piney Lakes Reserve, at the corner of Leach Highway and Murdoch Drive.

The 2013 event will be held on Saturday 7th December, with pre-show entertainment at 5pm and carols at 7pm.



Throughout the evening families are in invited to come along and enjoy the festive carnival atmosphere and free kids activities, including rides, face painting, and balloons.

Importantly, Love Community is a drug and alcohol free event, ensuring it is a safe and fun Community event for all who attend.

There will be food and drink available for purchase onsite and families are encouraged to bring along a rug and some Christmas cheer!

Donations for the Love Community Hampers project are also welcome and Starlight Foundation 'Starlights' will be on sale on the event day - all proceeds will be donated to the Princess Margaret Hospital.



This event remains to be the biggest of its kind in The City of Melville and provides a unique opportunity for the local community to band together. Love Community stands for one message: 'to reach and influence the community' and bring forth 'a message of hope'.
