The Lounge has been around for quite some time now and it has always popular with students.

They are a pub on Swanston Street, which serves traditional Aussie pub food. It is kid friendly.

There is a happy hour for students, where a jug of beer is $12. They also do both non vegetarian and vegetarian food and $5 bottles of beer. The $10 Parma nights on Mondays are popular; you can get a Parma with chips and salad.



There is live music sometimes. The atmosphere was really nice at lunchtime when I visited. In fact we sat outside and there was nice views of the street. At 1pm, when we came, it was very quiet.
My friend and I both enjoyed our burgers and I enjoyed my drink, but we both thought that they had too many chips,.

It's a good little pub for students and I hope that they stay open in the near future.
