The Lotterywest Film Festival will be running right through until Sunday 13th April, 2014 featuring an assortment of both local and international movies.

Movies will be screening at outdoor cinemas at the Somerville Auditorium located at the University of Western Australia and Joondalup Pines at the Edith Cowan University.

Both of these venues are ideal destinations for an evening of quality entertainment in a relaxed and friendly setting. The season kicks off with 'Much Ado About Nothing' and 'Jappeloup', followed closely by '20 Feet from Stardom', 'What Richard Did', 'Mood Indigo', 'Gloria', 'The Gilded Cage', 'Stories We Tell', '12 Years a Slave', and many more. For a full program of films screening, venues and times, visit the website.

Somerville Auditorium is a licensed venue with a bar and offers a range of food options, beverages, snacks and ice-creams for you to purchase. There is room for a thousand patrons on deck-chairs, and a further two hundred people on the grass area.

Joondalup Pines will have an assortment of foods, beverages, snacks and ice creams for sale. Alcohol is BYO. There are cinema seating and beanbags available or bring along your own chairs and rugs.

Tickets are available from the venue on the evening of the event or on-line from the Perth International Arts Festival website.

So, this summer, gather your family and friends, bring along a picnic and enjoy some of the best movies contemporary cinema has to offer.
