It's back! After four long years, the Lota State School fete is on again. Entry is free and the festivities will be commencing at 10.00am and rocking on until 3.00pm, Saturday 2nd of August 2014.
The kids, together with their parents and teachers, are very excited and intend to showcase all of the positive changes currently happening in and around the school.
Come along and celebrate the wonderful Bayside community with rides, stalls and displays from local community groups. There will be stalls selling bargains in food, lollies, pre-loved clothes, books, CDs and toys. Here's a tip – get to the 'Lob-a-Choc' stall early because the kids are running this one on their own and the projectiles might begin disappearing fast.
The students are rightfully very proud of their school and really want you to enjoy yourself. So, once you have collected your prizes, relax and watch the dancing and other presentations provided for you by the students.
All the action and fun will be on the school's oval at 26 Richard Street, Lota on Brisbane's beautiful Moreton Bay. This event will be a wonderful day for the whole family to enjoy. See you there.
