Recently moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast & wanting to share my experiences of Sunny QLD as I explore the sites! I love food, food, food, oh and travel and lifestyle too!
Have started a blog (still in baby stages) cestbonappetite.com/

Lot 104 is an espresso/wine bar on Mooloolaba Esplanade, a perfect spot opposite the beach to sit and enjoy the views whilst sipping on a coffee (or champagne depending on what time it is!!) and just relax and enjoy the moment. They also have a great looking menu with a mixture of share plates as well as more substantial food. (I'm yet to try their food, as have only ever gone for drinks but definitely looks worthwhile trying).
On my initial discovery of Mooloolaba, Lot 104 was the place that stood out to me, mostly because of its inviting decor. It's stylish without being pretentious and has a great set up out the front on the esplanade with a mix of tables and outdoor couches with lower set coffee tables. My two favourite chairs inside are a dark velour fabric set side by side facing outward towards the esplanade, giving it a slight European feel, letting you sit back and observe your surroundings. There is a mix of dark wood, 'leather' and patterned wallpaper, against the lightness of chandeliers, fringed light shades and a light bar - sounds a lot doesn't it? But it works really well and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Not a huge place though, but there always has been a spot outside if not one indoors, and seeing as the weather is amazing at this time of year there is no worries about sitting outdoors.
