What is the one-bedroom cottage at Lorne Valley Farm Stay like?
The cottage was large and spacious, and furnished with neutral and wooden colours that together make it look and feel cosy and inviting. There are many comfortable couches in the living room area, conveniently arranged so that everyone has a good view of the TV. After all, what better way to spend an evening curled up on the couch when on a holiday away from the daily stresses of life?
There's nothing like home-cooked food when staying on a farm, right? Lucky for you, Lorne Valley Farm Stay has a fully equipped kitchen for you to whip up delicious meals at any time of the day and night; all you need to do is buy your own groceries before heading back for the day! Oh, and as mentioned previously, you can even collect your own eggs on the property, bringing you eggs as fresh as they get. Speaking of fresh, there is some fresh milk is provided free of charge, in the fridge, for tea and coffee purposes.
The lone bedroom in the cottage has a comfortable Queen sized bed, with an additional bed (and sofa bed) in the living room area. Please note that the advertised price is for two adults; all further older children or adults are charged AUD 20 per night for extra beds, with a maximum of 5 people. In addition, it's worth noting that should you bring a pet along with you, the owners kindly quest that they not enter the bedroom area - there is a baby gate provided for this reason. However, your pets are free to roam free inside the cottage as they please. There is one modern bathroom slash toilet in the cottage to be shared by all guests.
Outside, there is plenty of seating for you to sit and enjoy the views of rolling hills and lush green vegetation that make up the beautiful Lorne Valley. What better place to enjoy your morning coffee than out here in the country? While you sit back and relax however, pawrents who brought their furbaby along on this vacation might want to let your dog roam free - there is a small, fully-enclosed area (with a gate) which serves this very purpose. You couldn't ask for more, really!
