Held on the last Sunday of September, Active Nation Day is a day that stops the nation and asks the question "Are we doing enough?"
On this day, people of all ages are encouraged to put their health and fitness first and inspire others to do the same.
Since 1980, worldwide obesity has more than doubled, while 31% of the world's population languishes with insufficient exercise. As a result, heart disease has become the leading cause of death worldwide.
On Sunday 25th September, you can do something and show your family, friends and the world that 'Moving Matters' to you.
Active Nation Day will be held at Federation Square on Sunday 25th September from 7am to 12noon.
