Dining on Station Road opened up when Indooroopilly Shopping Centre revamped and added more space to become twice its size.

A handful of restaurants were given outdoor space along the sidewalk that created a great venue for dining and accompanied the Pig n Whistle to give you value and variety.

A few years on and some of those restaurants have moved out and have new replacements. One such place to enter is Lord of the Wings.

With a great new atmosphere, the large indoor, outdoor area has been transformed and with music playing and sports on the big screen, this is a place you could hang with your friends. This would also be an ideal spot to meet for drinks before the movies, or bring your family and mates for dinner. You could even choose to stay here and have dinner on a fine night after shopping.

There are several seating choices to choose from. The comfy booths hold 6-8 and you can easily sit here for hours. There are bar type tables to have a Hens party or a wedding shower. There are places that 2 of you could get cosy together and chat about world events.

The menu is varied with a good section for kids, it sure looks appetizing from the photos.

They have no shortage of share plates and flavors of wings so you can try each different one when you come back again or share a plate with your date. If you dare, they have a hot wing challenge. Check it out next time you are there.

The burgers are delicious and are a good size, proportioned well so you are not so full that you can't have dessert when you are done. Give the Firecracker a go, a buffalo sauce marinated chicken breast in a tasty blue cheese dressing that has just the right amount of spice. And then there is the Brownie for dessert that comes with chocolate and caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. You may want to share this or not.

There is also an amazing drinks menu full of non-alcoholic milkshakes that look amazing. But fear not, there are also alcoholic milk shakes that look amazing as well.

There are also special temptations to bring you in, including a mid-week lunch combo. There are happy hour specials, and Tuesday evening there is a date night special that includes movie tickets if you spend over a certain amount. Saturday they have Marguerite specials and also on Saturday if you bring the kids in for a post-game feed in their club uniforms they get 10% off the total bill.

This is a great new take on an American food restaurant with more appealing meal sizes and a wonderful Aussie atmosphere. So come and sit out in the open air with the music playing while you chat away your time on Station Road at Lord of the Wings.
