Lord of The Fries, as suggested by the title, is a franchise dedicated to serving the best of the humble side dish we all love fries. Originally from Melbourne, Lord of the Fries now has a Sydney CBD store on George St.

While the menu is based on fries, (which you can also order in sweet potato), there are also a range of burgers. As Lord of the Fries is vegetarian, all of the burgers are meat-less, however, let me assure all omnivores that they are delicious. My personal favourite is the Chick'n burger, which features a soft meat substitute on a bun with cheese and mayo. If you're vegan or gluten-free, simply let the staff know, and they can arrange for your order to include vegan and/or gluten free substitutes.

What I particularly like about Lord of the Fries is that they feature a variety of internationally themed sauces, like garlic mayo (Parisian) or mango chutney and sour cream (Indian). All sauces are $1.25, except for Aussie (tomato sauce and vinegar), which is free. Small size fries (which are surprisingly big), are $3.25, while a burger is $7.95. For a full meal (burger, fries and drink) expect to pay around $11. On Tuesday, all fries are buy one get one free, so bring a friend and reap the rewards.
