If you love music, the Lord Melbourne Hotel is a hive of activity every Sunday afternoon from 2 to 6pm when the live music cranks up. Regular customers are joined by an ever-increasing number of new people who have followed the sounds of great music into the hotel.


Located in Melbourne Street in North Adelaide, the Lord Melbourne Hotel is a pub with something for everyone. In addition to the best live music in Adelaide, the all day dining and well-stocked beverage menu provide an enjoyable way to relax before the start of the working week.


With a dance floor and an outdoor beer garden, you can get close to the music or have a quieter conversation in the beer garden or rear section of the dining room. Formerly Tavern 63, the Lord Melbourne hosts some of the most experienced and popular bands in Adelaide, who really know how to pomp out an entertaining show.

Travis Wellington Hedge , an award winning crowd favourite, have been playing together since 1968. Winning the South Australian final of the Hoadleys Battle of the Sounds, the band performed at the National Awards where they placed third. Playing the hits from the 60s and 70s, they are guaranteed to get your feet dancing.


Formed in 1966, Five Sided Circle play rock from the 60s and 70s including The Who, Small Faces, Grass Roots, Paul Revere and The Raiders, The Sorrows and The Kinks. John McKay, Trevor McNamara, John Rose, Ron Kosmider perform each month at the Lord Melbourne to a packed dance floor.


If country rock is more your style, The Rustlers play toe tapping, dance worthy country rock. Since 2001, Gary Burrows, John Murphy, Garry Calies and Derek Manning have been playing a mix of cover songs and their own compositions. Following the success of their first album, titled Broken Pieces, they have released three more albums and performed at many music festivals and the Clipsal 500 After Race Concert.



Beatles and Rolling Stones fans will love the Mod Cons . Darren, Mark, Shelley and Richard, are a sixties style, mod R&B band also performing songs by the Who, the Kinks and the Yardbirds. The dance floor is jumping when they play at The Lord Melbourne.



Reasonably priced meals are available from 11am to 9pm daily. From classic pub food to steaks and seafood, the main menu offers a diverse selection of meals. The $12 lunch and the daily specials , together with a good drinks menu provide many options to satisfy any appetite. Take away is also available.
