Calling all Beatles fans, the Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts event has The Beatles: The Early Years, presenting next on the agenda. The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The group, whose best-known line-up comprised John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, are regarded as the most influential band of all time. From humble beginnings, they became a world phenomenon. They hold the record for most number-one albums on the UK Albums Chart, most number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and most singles sold in the UK. They received many accolades and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, and all four main members were inducted individually between 1994 and 2015.
This concert retraces the early years of the Beatles through to 1964 when they were stars on the world stage. Local tribute band The Beatlegs - Shaun Croaker (John Lennon), Sam Croaker (George Harrison), Paul Van Acker (Paul McCartney) and Paul Verni (Ring Starr) are the ultimate Beatles tribute show who have been keeping the magic of The Beatles alive since 2008.
