We found this authentic Chinese restaurant when we stayed at Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel. Located on the ground floor of Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel, Loong Fong Chinese Seafood Restaurant is open to the public.



They have two dining areas indoors and one outdoors by the swimming pool. The indoor dining area is decorated in black and red colours. The indoor seating is intimate with round tables perfect for a family gathering or special occasion. Th outdoor dining area is more relaxed and complemented with a bar.



Loong Fong Seafood Restaurant is well-known for its traditional Chinese cuisine which includes an extensive menu of seafood including prawns, scallops, squid, crab and lobster. Dishes are cooked to perfection in the Chinese flavours of ginger, chilli-plum and black bean sauces. A takeaway menu and vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.



That night we were there, we walked-in but you need a reservation as it can get quite busy at times. Loong Fong Seafood Restaurant has very good service and friendly staff who provided a table and baby chair.



While waiting for our dinner ready, they brought prawn crackers that disappeared very quickly. We had spring rolls for our entree with a spicy sauce on the side. For our main, we tried their Sizzling Beef. The beef was very tender with a thick pepper sauce and crunchy vegetables.
