From Saturday 18 August to Sunday 16 September 2012, Lionel's Melbourne becomes an gastronomic adventure. The City of Melbourne presents a delicious event to showcase the abundant culinary creativity that calls the city home and tantalise the public's epicurean palate in celebration of Victoria's proud food history and the State Library of Victoria's Gusto! Exhibition.
Just across the road from Federation Square, PM24 is a modern French Bistro and Rotisserie headed by renowned chef Philippe Mouchel. It's organic Milawa rotisserie chicken was named dish of the year by Larissa Dubecki in The Age's Epicure. Widely regarded as one of the world's best French chefs, Philippe Mouchel was awarded with the Legend Award at the Good Food Guide awards. His culinary style is definitely French, modern and open to new ideas and trends.
For the Look.Stop.Taste Food Festival, Chef Philippe is offering a glass of Prentice Pinot Gris to accompany his tender and melt-in-the-mouth cured salmon gravlax, with lightly pickled cucumber strips and a mild horseradish mousse at AUD15. This offer is available for lunch between 12pm-3pm on Sunday to Friday and dinner after 6pm on Sunday to Wednesday. PM24 and Chef Philippe's simple French dishes with a refined edge in an incredibly ambient space will have you saying "Très Bon"!
