Spectacular Views and Great Views close to Brisbane
At least you don't have to climb a mountain to reach this special place! The Lookout Café is on the Glass House-Woodford Road, on the way to the Glass House Mountain's Lookout – and strategically not far from it, and a great place to stop after your Lookout visit.
The café has a spectacular view out to Mount Coonowrin, and is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 3 pm (or longer at times). It has an indoor area and a deck which gives you spectacular views across to the mountains. As well as home baked cakes and flans, there's great freshly ground coffee, toasted sandwiches and "Devilish Devonshire teas". So, breakfast, lunch, morning or afternoon tea – it is a great spot with a such a wide selection of foods and breathtaking views. You'll also find a selection of gifts and souvenirs to take home with you.
Hidden near the café is the accommodation Glass on Glass House, which consists of 3 private self-contained cottages, and as it is not far from many popular towns and tourist spots in the area, e.g. Montville, Maleny, Beerwah, Woodford, Australia Zoo, it is a great base for a weekend away. Check out the website for more details.
