Exhibition.
For Look.Stop.Taste, hip, trendy and popular Chin Chin restaurant serves up 2 chicken dumplings in an egg drop soup with a 330 ml Singha beer for AUD15. It is raved by diners for its delicious Asian-fusion cuisine featuring Thai and Vietnamese inspired dishes. Restaurateur Chris Lucas, formerly from Botanical, created an informal dining environment to share a street-inspired meal. I understand that this Talk-of-the-town restaurant in a former warehouse gets unbelievably busy at dinners with 1.5 hours waiting times as a norm. Add to that a no-reservation policy and you're in the queue till the restaurant alerts you about an available table via SMS. I can image the noise levels and the cramp seating of full covers but I was told all these add to Chin Chin's atmosphere. At 3pm to 4pm for the Look.Stop.Taste promotion, the restaurant was a welcomed quiet to enjoy the décor and be served by friendly staff.
