When you dream in color, it's a pigment of your imagination

Calling all creatives.

It's indisputable that all the greatest events happen annually; birthdays, Christmas, international 'Step in a Puddle and Splash Your Friend,' day (it's real, get involved). So it's no surprise that on Saturday the 27th of October the Look Hear Festival will once again be gracing Newcastle with its very welcome presence.

So what's this all about? Essentially, the organisers of the Look Hear Festival have rounded up an extremely striking selection of Australia's finest artists and design professionals to not only inform, but inspire a little something in the hearts and souls of fellow arty-types. Those of you busting with anticipation, release your white-knuckled grip on your chair and shuffle closer; it gets better.

The festival begins with a conference at the University Conservatorium (Laman St, Newcastle), where seasoned professionals and lovers of art will be sharing their perspectives on an industry where creativity reigns supreme, but it doesn't end there. Throughout the festival, specialised workshops are being held where you get the opportunity to work alongside these seasoned professionals and score some serious knowledge. Knowledge is power, and power is awesome!
