Head here for a great time
Sunday Sessions are a great part of Australian culture and what better place to spend the last remaining hours of the weekend than hanging out with friends, overlooking the beach and listening to live music. If you are wondering where such a place exists, head over to Longboards on The Strand. The Long Sunday Sesh as they call it, is from 11am til 3pm for lunch however the real fun starts later in the day as the crowd gets bigger.

Ocean views on a Sunday

Here you can listen to some amazing live musicians play all through the afternoon and continue right into the night. A part of a great range of beverages to choose from Longboards offers a small yet delicious list of food to enjoy all to yourself or to share amongst friends. Highly recommended are the Buffalo Wings that you can order by the half or full kilo. These babies get more and more delightful with every serve, so much so entire conversations have been rendered silenced whilst consuming these bad boys and you might want to order extra for yourself.

It gets quite popular over at Longboards on a Sunday arvo so if you think you might miss out on the fun you can call ahead and make a reservation or take your chance at finding a seat as you arrive. Either way you are guaranteed a great time in a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the sea. Leave a comment below if you know of another great place for a Sunday sesh.
