The Long Neck Brewery has many craft beers on tap to choose from
When we arrived at the Long Neck Brewery for dinner, it had been raining outside, and the sun had set. I liked the atmosphere inside the dining hall. After I finished having a look around the place, I went and found a staff member, who got us some menus and showed us to a table. My husband decided to try a Pelican Pilsner beer. I had a few sips to taste it. I am not a huge fan of beer. I find most beers to be far too bitter. Surprisingly, I didn't feel that way about Pelican Pilsner. It was still bitter, but not overwhelmingly so, and I liked that it had a sweet flavour and a floral aroma.

I love a good espresso martini
I ordered myself an expresso martini. This was a great drink. It was smooth, warm, and rich. A perfect blend of expresso, coffee liqueur, and vodka garnished with a light dusting of chocolate and a sprinkle of coffee beans.

The garlic and rosemary sourdough pizza makes for a perfect entrée
For our entrée, we ordered a garlic and rosemary sourdough pizza for $10 with a side of baba ganoush with eggplant, tahini, lemon, garlic, olive oil, paprika and chives for $9.

The baba ganoush dip went great with the garlic and rosemary sourdough pizza
I really liked the garlic and rosemary sourdough pizza. The slices were thick and had a nice crunch and a salty taste to them. The baba ganoush dip complimented the pizza very well. It was very creamy and packed full of flavour. I could really taste the paprika.

How nice does this burger and chips look?
For my main meal, I ordered a classic burger with an Angus smash patty, American cheese, tomato, lettuce and aioli for $19. It came with a serve of chips on the side. My first thought when I looked at my meal was that I liked the size of the burger. I don't like places that stack burgers so high you almost have to dislocate your jaw to eat it. This was a good meal. The chips were hot and salty and had a nice crunch. The burger was well constructed and fit well in my hands. I liked the taste of the bun and the Angus smash patty and how the cheese slice was just a little bit melted on the corners.

Dig into this delicious ice cream sundae
For dessert, we ordered an ice cream sundae for $12 to share. It came with cookie dough ice cream, chocolate fudge, cream and sprinkles. It was served in a glass cup stacked high with cream, ice cream, sprinkles and fudge. I really enjoyed this dessert. The ice cream had big chunks of cookie dough in it and I liked the cream, sprinkles and chocolate fudge. It was more than enough to share between two people. My only complaint was when we started to eat it, some of the cream fell off the top of the dessert and landed on the table. I felt like it would've been better served in a bowl than in a cup.
