Long Jetty is located on NSW Central Coast – approximately 90 minutes north of Sydney and about an hour south of Newcastle. Its neighbouring areas are ToowoonBay to the east and The Entrance to the north.

Long Jetty Foresore Reserve offers families a great cycling track and several playgrounds for small children. Kids can skate, skateboard or scooter around whilst you relax at one of the many picnic areas.

Covered tables, seating, BBQs and toilets can be found in several places along the shore. On the southern end of the reserve is a large enclosed playground, which is part of Rotary Park. For children with disabilities, the park offers a Liberty Swing.

Boat ramps stretch into the lake and you can often find pelicans, ducks and seagulls resting on them or fishing nearby. Don't forget to bring a camera, as this is a truly picturesque spot.

If you continue north along the foreshore reserve, you will come to Picnic Point Park, which has a small playground as well as great picnic areas and a skatepark. Pelicans often come close to the shore to be fed by fishermen who bring in their catch for the day.
