From 23 to 25 March 2018, the Crown Riverwalk will take on the look, energy and colour of Bangkok's street food scene. Just close your eyes and take in the aroma that comes with the bold tastes of the food culture of Bangkok. Brought to life by chef and author David Thompson and the team at Long Chim, the Long Chim Bangkok Markets and its diverse lineup of food stalls will be complemented by bars, live entertainment and a few surprises along the Riverwalk.

As part of the Melbourne Food an Wine Festival, this is one of Crown's offerings that celebrates some of the world's best culinary experiences. Another being the opportunity to have a Thai feast with David Thompson on the 19th of March.

Long Chim means to come try and taste in Thai, so what better time than at the Bangkok Markets event. You're in good hands with David, whose authority on Thai cuisine and culture takes inspiration from the street food and local markets of Bangkok. His respect for the cuisine in cooking has won him admirers internationally, so welcome to the madness, excitement and deliciousness of the streets. Grab your friends and family and feast at Crown this Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2018.

Outside of this event, Long Chim's doors are always open for lunch and dinner, for you to 'long chim' at Crown. DJ Beats and Thai Eats is a good way to spend your Saturday night on the terrace of the restaurant as you listen to DJ beats, enjoy signature cocktails and authentic Thai bar snacks.
