Rockhampton can get a taste of Texas. Located at The Terrace - dining precinct at Stockland, The Lonestar Rib House will bring Texas-style barbecue and cuisine. They only use premium quality meats exclusively sourced from Australia's richest grazing lands.



When we arrived at Lone Star Rib House Rockhampton, we were surprised by the spacious eating areas that they had, both inside and outside. We could see some cowboy wall decorations as we went to the outdoor eating area.



As we browsed their menu, we could find variety in their food options, from burgers and gelato to schnitzels, Mexican, and of course, their signature pork and beef ribs barbecued.



The place was busy for lunch that day but our orders came quite quickly. Our children ordered a milkshake and it was just nice, not overly sweet. It comes in a glass jar shaped like a pineapple. The food was modest in size, not as big as pub food, which I like.
