is located inside Majura Park Shopping Centre , 8 kms east of the CBD. It is an indoor play centre with a soft play area for toddlers, a huge inflatable area, ball pit, slides, a café and party rooms for birthday celebrations. At the front counter, kids are reminded to wear socks and they are also given security wrist bands with unique numbers which match the adult tickets. See entry prices here - it is interesting to note that weekday prices are a couple of dollars cheaper than weekends prices. Also before you visit, check the Lollypop's Facebook page for the latest deals as they often have multi-pass deals available to make it cheaper per visit.

Majura Park Shopping Centre and Lollipop's is located next to Canberra Airport, so watch out for the occasional small plane taxiing past the toddler area window - a highlight for plane-loving kids.

There is a large central area with plenty of tables for families to have a base while the kids run off to play. The play area for the older children is impressive in size with a ball pit, bouncy castle, inflatable slides, bridges and netted walkways to climb up and large rainbow coloured slides to whizz down.

There is also an extra steep green slide for an extra big squeal. This is the highlight of this centre for older kids, a place where they can make new friends and have slide races. With a race to the bottom and then a climb back up to the top again, this area is guaranteed to give them a fun time...and an early night!

If you are visiting for a party, there are three party rooms with cute little tables and chairs to enjoy the party fare before running out and playing again (see details here ). Although some of the other play centres in Canberra have themed rooms, kids are more interested in the party food and cake and will enjoy their party in these colourful party rooms. The attraction of this large centre is right outside the door - the slides.

For parents there is a café to grab a coffee or stay for a light meal. There is the usual kids play centre food aimed at kids, as well as healthy options for both adults and children. As there is a coffee ticket included in the adult entry fee, it is a good excuse for carers to sit down and have a rest while the kids enjoy their play.

If you have little ones who don't like it too noisy, weekdays are popular with the under 5's and it is a quiet and calm environment for your child to get used to the centre. Just like all playcentres it can get busy on weekends, public holidays and school holidays and from all reports, the teacup ride is extremely popular and can have long queues.

For the kids however, it doesn't matter when they go - rainy days, hot days, cold days - any day is a good day at Lollipop's!
