If you're a local to the south-east area of Melbourne, you might be familiar with the chain of play centres that are around. The closure of Crocs in Frankston saw a gap for a local favourite, and Lollipops Playland & Café happily filled the bill. If you haven't heard of Lollipops, or being there yet, now is the time! As winter approaches, indoor activities are needed, and this clean and friendly playcentre is the place to be. Lollipops, in terms of space and size, is easily the most generous I've been to. With more than ample seating for guests, without the play space taken over in any way, Lollipops is the perfect place to go this winter to escape the cold and keep the kids occupied.

Play

There are two main sections to this very spacious playcentre. The 'older kids' main area, which hosts a four-track slide, a ball 'shooting' area, a ball pit, and a maze of tunnels and climbing adventures for children to enjoy. There is also a toddler area, where smaller kids can enjoy a range of play equipment without the worry of big kids pushing through. This also has its own ball pit and two slides, and climbing equipment.

Don't Forget The Pirate Ship!

A pirate ship in a playcentre? Yep, the playcentre boasts its very own pirate ship, which operates periodically throughout the day. Usually, they have at least one session per hour but check before popping in if your children are keen not to miss out on this ride.

Food & Drink

The menu has had quite a revamp in recent months, catering to all appetites, big and small. There are good size lunches for both kids and adults, or snacks on both the menu and in the display cabinet to choose from. Most importantly, the coffee at Lollipops is great – which is all we really need to know as parents!

Events

Whether you're looking to have your child's next birthday party in one of the party rooms, or you want to book out the entire venue, it can be done at Lollipops! Parties start from $17.90 per child or book the entire venue for 3 hours from just $750!

Lollipops Playland and Café is open 7 days a week, 9am – 5pm. Come down for a coffee and let the kids have a play. The only problem you could possibly face at Lollipops is getting the kids to leave!
