One of the best things of being part of a multicultural society is that there is a wide exposure to the different music, food, and general lifestyles that exist in our world.

I recently came across the music from a dynamic duo from South Africa.



Locnville is an electro-techno duo with identical twins, Andrew and Brian Chaplin.

Born and raised in South Africa for most of their lives, this sibling duo has gone far and worked extremely hard to reach their current level of success.

Their first album Sun In My Pocket was released in 2010 and has garnered rave reviews from their listeners. Producing hits like "Sun In My Pocket" and "6 Second Poison" has skyrocketed their career to new heights.

The difference between all the other forms of techno music and Locnville's music is that their music consists of lyrics that have a real meaning. This is the main reason why I have become an avid follower and fan of their beautiful work.



Considering how these guys are fresh out of their teens, they have some of the most melodious, deepest and influential voices that I've heard in a while.

Locnville has the talent of making almost anything out of nothing. From the feet-tapping single "There" to the more personal, soulful "Stars Above You", these guys have the knack to go that extra mile and provide a variety to suit everyone's taste.

It's sad that not many people outside the South African community know about this glorious and fun music duo, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time till they make their mark on an international level with their charming smiles and seriously amazing talent!
