Lockhart Road runs for 800 metres between Warrandyte Road and Terrigal Close. It is a well-established area with only of few newly landscaped gardens.

The road meanders a little with a footpath on only one side in parts.

A stand of the Belladonna plants still looked attractive, even though they were getting near the end of their blooming glory.

One of the many genus's of Plumbago, although not colourful, have a certain beauty with their subtle colour.

Just in from Terrigal Close is a large grassy, unnamed park with a small play area.

Many of the gardens are very well-established, which is another way of saying they are overgrown but in a nice way.

There were a few landscaped gardens of note. One had a stone wall featured, while an old fashioned street lamp was a feature of another garden.

Another garden was full of succulents and Yucca plants, which looked impressive. A nearby garden featured a small succulent display.

Many roses were blooming with a red bloom above head height looking impressive. A bush full of climbing red roses also looked impressive.

A well-cared for garden bordering the footpath looked well planned with just bushes of varying heights.

Garden ornaments are usually attractive, but I'm not sure if a rusty abandoned wheelbarrow was meant to be one.

Only a couple of walkers were encountered. All seemed to be on a mission rather than a leisurely stroll.

Birds were few and far between. Only a couple of Magpies and a Noisy miner in a tree were encountered.

At least one swinger lived in Lockhart Road, leaving their equipment behind, just hanging from a tree.

A Polygala bush won the street award for the best floral escapee although there were many nominees. Many daisies were seen which are always eye-catching.
