Saturday 27 October 2018 heralds the Lloyd Street School Community Fair, running from 10am to 5pm at 6 Lloyd St, Malvern East. An event not to be missed and filled with all the fun of the Fair, there's everything from gourmet food, rides, stalls, trash and treasure, vintage clothes, silent auctions, books, cakes, displays, talent and lots more to entertain you. Keep up with updates on the Facebook page.

Earlybird price all day ride wristband are available now via Trybooking. It allows the kids unlimited rides on Fair Day. All kids will be wanting one, so why not save yourself $10 per kid. Wristbands will be sold for $45 on the day so get in early! Aprons listed on the page are for those helping out at the stalls, and can be used for years to come as a practical item.

January Sun with Lloyd Street School's very own TV and singing superstar Tammy Horrigan will be playing at the Fair. Put a little magic in your day with Anthony Demasi, magician, comedian, MC, entertainer and magic consultant, who'll also be performing.

If you're keen to see the teachers strut their stuff and let loose on the dance floor, be sure you're near the main tent on Fair Day (12.30pm) and get ready to be entertained. If you're brimming with talent yourself, all types of acts are welcome, be it singing, dancing, comedy skit, magic show, juggling, acrobatics, gymnastics, mime, acting; you decide. Get the entry forms at the office and get in quick as places are limited, with entries closing Friday 19 October 2018.

Don't forget Christmas. It's that time of year again, and for the first time, the Fair is having a dedicated area for some amazing boutique market stalls from local businesses. This could be your one stop shop for all the goodies you need.

It takes a village to create a successful school fair, hence if you have some high-quality pre-loved clothing in great condition, your help is needed to create the best vintage clothing stall ever. Spring cleaning your pre-loved clothes could be good for the soul and all men's women's and kid's designer clothing, shoes and accessories are gratefully accepted with drop off points on the front verandah of 29 Moama St (8am to 8pm weekdays) and 1 Paxton St (8am to 8pm weekends). Click on the last poster image to enlarge and read details.

Silent auction prizes for the fair are also in need, so if you're a business or the business you work for can donate a prize or voucher, please email the following -

For that matter, if you have any goodies for Trash and Treasure, further collections are being made on Fridays and Sundays 3-4pm. Drop off is at the shipping container inside the Summerhill Rd entrance. No soft toys and no rubbish please. What is needed are toys, board games, bikes in GC; odd lego, knick-knacks and curios; hand tools, garden and power tools; skiing, camping and sporting goods; foreign coins, artwork, small rugs, hand-held electronics, phones, iPods and cameras; kitchenware and small appliances; footy cards, comics; that odd ear-ring that has lost its pair; as well as CDs, DVDs and LPs.
