LJ Lewis Reserve - Northfield
LJ Lewis Reserve is just off Grand Junction Road in Northfield. It's a grassy reserve on a slope with shelters and BBQ areas dotted around an ornamental lake.
There's a big new playground for kids near the front of the reserve with all the cool stuff they love.

For those with dogs, there's a brand new dog park. It features three separate areas - Small Dogs, All Dogs and Individual Use! There's more space, more seating and more facilities.

The park is right next to LJ Lewis Oval and Edward Smith Oval giving you plenty of space to have a kick of the footy or a hit of cricket.
Even though this park is bounded at the top of the slope by the jail (Yatala) it's well screened off. The park has a great view of Torrens Island Power Station on the western horizon.
There's plenty of well-built paths for easy walking and there's a small block of public toilets. The entire site is set for more upgrades in the near future to create a more connected and vibrant sports area. If you like exploring new parks, particularly with dogs, then LJ Lewis Reserve is worth checking out.
