Don your best breeches and stovepipe hat and pack a picnic for a day of nineteenth century fun at Parramatta Park .

History comes alive with , a family friendly event presented by The Garrison - Early Colonial Living History. Salter's Field and the Dairy Cottage (located next to the Governor's Residence at the Domain) will be the site for displays, stalls and other historic experiences.

Stroll Merchants Row to purchase games, military arms and other colonial memorabilia from one of the market booths; take in a cooking or craft demonstration; visit the tradesmen's stalls to see how old time workers fulfilled their duties; or join in on the historical re-enactments that will occur throughout the grounds. There will also be live music, dance and roving entertainers performing throughout the day.

This event will take place on Sunday, 1 May from 10.00am until 4.00pm and is free to attend. This is an event that is appropriate for the entire family. Dress up, bring a picnic and enjoy free activities and entertainment all day long.
