Event:
A Brave New You
I recently saw a posting on Facebook for Sarah Davis' free Living a Brave Life Workshop. Sarah's workshop really appealed to me as I am looking for my next step in life, a new career, and which direction to go in.

The Living a Brave Life Workshop offers:

1. The 5 key steps to attracting your ideal partner.
2. The secrets to finding your passions and living with purpose.
3. Direction and clarity about your life, love and career.
4. How to recognise and release any limiting beliefs that might be holding you back.
5. Powerful new tools enabling you to attract exactly who and what you want into your life immediately.
6. A tailored action plan to move you forward with confidence.

I wasn't sure if I could accomplish all of this in one workshop, but I was very keen to give it a try. I felt I had nothing to lose and was ready for a new direction in my life.

About a week prior to the workshop Sarah called me to check in and see what I wanted to get out of the workshop. It was a wonderful way to introduce herself and get ready for making some positive changes in my life.

Upon first meeting Sarah in person I was struck by her confidence and positive presence. Sarah is a certified Wellness Coach and Mindset Mentor who has helped many people make changes in their lives to lead happier healthier lives. She specialises in working with Generation Y women.

There were about 18 women who came to Living a Brave Life. The space was a beautiful yoga studio in Darlinghurst. Sarah welcomed us and thanked us for coming on our Sunday morning. You could sense the positive energy and receptivity in the crowd.

We started the workshop by some ice breakers and lots of laughs. Then Sarah delved into her story really showing how in her past, she had also felt confused and lost and not sure what direction to go in. I found that really important because she was empathising with the rest of us, who may not have found our passion and truly knowing what we wanted to do with our lives.

I could clearly see that Sarah has now found her passion in life, guiding and coaching others. She was thoughtful and really listened as she conducted the workshop and talked to individuals about their lives and issues.

She also generously provided tasty treats and fresh fruit to the group which was much appreciated. I also really enjoyed bonding with the other women in the group. In the fast city of Sydney I don't see that happening so often.

One thing I was really struck by was Sarah saying that we have to be brave to make changes in our lives. It really clicked for me that I can have a fabulous internet business idea but unless I'm brave and take those steps to make it a reality, I will stay stuck where I am.

Sarah gave clear and precise ways to find out what your passion is and how to get exactly where you want to go in life.I was very impressed and felt I had gained the tools to begin making the changes I want in my life. Pretty incredible for a 3 hour workshop.

I'm not going to spill all the details of what we did in the workshop, you will have to experience that for yourself. But I can say that I did develop an action plan during the workshop to start meditating and exercising every day and making that a priority. I'm proud to say that I have stuck with my action plan and have found time and space to meditate (even if it's only 10 minutes a day) and do some form of exercise every day.

I'm off to a great start and the next time you hear from me it may just be with my new internet business. For people that want to continue on the path of finding their best self Sarah offers private and group coaching from her office in Rushcutter's Bay.
