Would you know the emergency plan for your child or grandchild if they had an asthma attack? Does someone know your emergency asthma plan?

The Asthma Foundation SA are conducting a free workshop, Live Well with Asthma, on 19th June, 2017 between 10am and 11.30am, at the Asthma Foundation, 300 South Rd, Hilton for people living with asthma or their carer's.

You'll increase your knowledge of the latest information in asthma research to help you better understand and manage your asthma, and to help support people living with asthma.

Learn how to increase your confidence in recognising and managing the symptoms of asthma and optimising response times, new treatments available, evaluation of complimentary therapies and taking control of your health so you can live full and active lives.

Key topics to be covered are:
* Asthma symptom control and how to achieve it
* Asthma medications and how to use the delivery devices
* Trigger factors and what to do about them
* Why you should have a written asthma action plan
* What to do when you or someone you know is having an
asthma attack.



Even if you think your asthma is under control, knowing your Asthma Score is still important. Take the Asthma Control Test here and check your score **before you attend on the 19th June.
