The Glen Eira City Council - Arts and Culture are putting on LIVE Sunday Sessions every Sunday in August 2020 from 3-4pm. With a lineup of talented locals that include Glen Eira residents as well as Glen Eira focused art, history and heritage including in-conversations, children's performances and Glen Eira comedy musicians, the entertainment is diverse, for all ages, so you're bound to find something you love to enjoy from the comfort of your home

Though FREE, all events need REGISTRATION as follows.
Sun 9 Aug - Celebrating 1960's fashion in Melbourne (Register)
Sun 16 Aug - Aspiring local muso Chloe James (Register)
Sun 23 Aug - Tales of Bricks and Mortar (Register)
Sun 30 Aug - Visit the underwater world with Dream Puppets (Register)

The first event has you privy to an engaging conversation with local residents who have been involved in fashion, including a fashion historian who'll talk about Melbourne's fashion scene of the times. For a completely different event, the following Sunday gets you face to face online with 18 year old local singer-songwriter Chloe James who'll perform for you with her sister Grace, the drummer.

For the third session, Bricks and Mortar's Aron Lewin chats about the project and why supporting local matters as he shares stories about the many long-standing shops, restaurants and cafes that have been familiar stalwarts in our lives. Half child, half animal, a superhero of the underwater kind, surrender to Dreamer in the Deep by Dream Puppets for the last event. The kids will love the story of a rescue to save a leafy sea dragon held captive by a greedy scorpion fish. Surrender to the magic of black light puppet theatre.
