Professional wrestling and Asian cuisine might not seem to go hand-in-hand, but Melburnians can experience both on Friday July 29th when Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) presents a night of high-flying, bone-jarring action at the Dragonfly Restaurant in Tullamarine.

MCW doesn't have the same big-budget razzmatazz as its American counterparts, but it compensates for the lack of pyrotechnics with plenty of explosive action inside the squared circle.

This will be the fourth MCW show to be held at the Dragonfly this year and there are usually six matches featuring names such as current champion Slex, the self-proclaimed "Mad Bastard" KrackerJak and female wrestler Shazza McKenzie. Even the man most footy fans love to hate, Collingwood cheer squad leader Joffa, usually makes an appearance as the manager of the group known as Team Silva.

Tickets are $10 for all ages, but be aware that this excludes the price of a meal should you decide to delve into some satay chicken with vegetables or stir fried beef in black bean sauce.

MCW's shows are billed as great family entertainment, so parents shouldn't hold any qualms about bringing the kids along.
