If you love live music, sipping on a glass of wine and nibbling on cheese and antipasto then the Hunter Valley outdoor concert series should be on your list of things to do in 2015.

What's on?

There are heaps of great acts already lined up for 2015:

1. Sting and Paul Simon Hope Estate 14 February 2015
2. The Angels & Cheap Trick - A Day on the Green - Saturday 21 February 2015 7:00pm w
3. A Day on the Green featuring, Roxette - Saturday 28th February 2015
4. The Eagles Hope Estate 7 March 2015
5. Campfire Country Music Festival Hope Estate 13 March 2015
6. A Day on the Green featuring Billy Idol and Special Guests - Saturday 28th March 2015
7. Rod Stewart Hope Estate 5 April 2015

9. John Farnham & Olivia Newton John Tempus Two - 18 April 2015
10. Neil Diamond Tempus Two 7 November 2015 -

Outdoor concerts are a great way to see your favourite bands and chill out with mates in the fresh air, soaking up brilliant sounds created by outdoor Amphitheatres. The vibe is electric and the people are super pumped to be outside, having a bevvie and listening to live music.

Exploring the Hunter
There are a number of ways to get to and from the Hunter concerts. I recommend:

1. Zepher Tours for fun trips direct from Sydney to the Hunter Valley events.
2. Wine Country Limousines if you have a group of mates and want to get around in style. They can also do from Sydney to the Hunter Valley.
3. Rover Coaches for an easy trip no matter the size of your group at a reasonable price.

Don't miss out - book early
You will need to get in early for tickets and accommodation because these concerts sell out fast and the accommodation even faster. If you don't book accommodation early you might be forced to stay about 40km out of the Hunter Valley.

Accommodation that I've found good for staying at the Hunter when going to the concerts there:

1. Crowne Plaza
2. Peppers
3. Leisure Inn Polkoblin
4. Harrigans Irish Pub

The Hunter landscape and vines are magical. Enjoy them!
