I love writing about actual do-able things, accessible activities. Even in social distancing there are things we can enjoy doing. If you hit the like button it lets me know what you like reading!
Come out of hibernation to enjoy live gigs at the Gov
Live Music at The Gov is Back! We all have been sadly missing our live music gigs, and one of the old favourites over the decades that we have missed the most is The Gov. For meals and entertainment, you can't go wrong with The Gov. A true piece of living history, The Gov has several rooms offering a range of atmosphere and options, ranging from the front bar and saloon bar to the spacious gig venue, plus dining!
So what live gigs are coming up? You'd better be quick to get your ticket online to see Dave Gleeson (from the Screaming Jets - remember them?) and Crafty, who play this Sunday June 21st. Tickets are for two people at approximately $100. Social distancing policies apply, as we would expect. If you miss out on your attendance tickets, however, there is a live streaming option available! Please look up the specifics on booking Dave Gleeson and Crafty along with all your live music options at The Gov Gig Guide.
June 26 will see two shows by (Rolling Stones cover band) Satisfaction - The Stones Show, in an early show and a late show. Go on, book it now, you know you want to! Due to social distancing tickets are sold in groups of 2 or 4 and you will be allocated a table. Tickets are $87.25 for two, including booking fee.
The Gov serves food, from pub meals to fine dining, with cosy roaring fires for winter warmth, and outdoor options for those impervious to frost-bite. For meals, please phone 8340 0744 to book. If you're socially inclined, why not inquire about social club membership of the Gov's Polo Club!
